Team Members

Invite and manage team members in your workspace.

Convoy Cloud uses organization-based access control. Each workspace can have multiple team members who can deploy and manage applications collaboratively.

Viewing members

Go to Members in the sidebar to see all team members in your current workspace.

Inviting members

Members are managed through your workspace's organization settings:

  1. Go to Members in the sidebar.
  2. Click Invite Member.
  3. Enter the team member's email address.
  4. They will receive an invitation to join your workspace.

Roles

RolePermissions
AdminFull access — deploy, manage apps, manage members, billing, integrations
MemberDeploy and manage applications. Cannot manage billing or members.

How it works

Convoy Cloud uses Clerk for authentication and organization management. When you invite a team member:

  1. They receive an email invitation.
  2. They create a Convoy Cloud account (or sign in if they already have one).
  3. They accept the invitation to join your workspace.
  4. They can now access all applications and resources in the workspace.

Shared resources

All team members in a workspace share:

  • The same application list
  • The same plan limits
  • The same billing account
  • The same custom domains
  • The same Grafana dashboards

GitHub App installations are per-user — each team member can connect their own GitHub account and grant repository access to the workspace.

Removing members

To remove a team member from your workspace, go to Members, find the member, and remove them. They will immediately lose access to the workspace and its resources.
